Fernando Knopf

Mr. Knopf is the Executive Producer and Musical Director of Latin Power Productions.

 

Between 2001 - 2019 Fernando performed, produced, recorded and Toured with some of the best International Artists around the world including:

Superstar Mercedes Sosa, Chuchito Valdes, Grammy Award Winner Marlow Rosado, Shalom Hanoch, Matti Caspi, RITA, David Broza, Papo Vazquez, Pedrito Martinez, Tito Puente Jr,  Samuel Torres, Benjamin Lapidus (New York), Gene Perry, Roberto Rodriguez (Cuba/ NYC), Maestro Efrain Toro, Wilson Kriminal (Panama), Jazz singer Nancy King, Singer Deborah Brown, Eli Degibri, Pianist  Alon Yavnai, Joca Perpignan, Avi Lebovich, Zig Zag (NYC) , Missa Criolla with Ensamble Latino Americano, The Tel Aviv Jazz Big Band, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, Bandonionist Eduardo Abramson, Oud Player and Violinist Yair Dallal, Bustan Sefaradi, Kahol, and many more.

Knopf also performed with big success at the JazzPhest in Philadelphia, Zinc Jazz Bar New York City, Cafe Wha NYC, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Johannesburg, South Africa, The Israeli Parliament (The Knesset), Thelonius Club Buenos Aires, Café Populart Madrid, EMJC Brooklyn, Eilat Mediterranean Salsa Congress, Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Rabin Square, International Cruises around Europe, and many more.

               

Fernando was also the Artistic Director of the "Jam Sessions at the Red Sea Jazz Festival 2011".

 

On September 2012 Fernando wrote and produced a new Multimedia Music Courses for "Rhythm Section" & The Secrets to "How to Play Music together" with "sCoolTV".

                                                                

On May 2013 Fernando produced and performed in a Tour of concerts with Master Percussionist and composer Samuel Torres.

On June 2013 Fernando produced and arranged the debut Concert by "Yehu" (Yehudit Goldfarb) at Zappa Club, combining Electronic music, an acoustic band with strings, Pop and Chill Out.

On August 2013 Fernando produced and performed in a special big concert for the Colombian Embassy for the "Colombia Independence Day" in Tel Aviv.

From December 2013 Fernando performs and produces the biggest and most successful Latin Show in Israel: "Tribute to the Buena Vista Social Club" by Latin Power, featuring singer Italo Gonzalez, the Latin Power Band, Cuban dancers and Video Art.

​

His last Album CD "La Musica es Sentimientos", was released worldwide on September 2014, and received very good reviews all over the world.

​

On March 2015 Fernando performed and Toured in Johannesburg, South Africa, at the "Sandton Conventions Center" with the "Jewish Label Band" at the Israel Expo 2015 for the Jewish Federation of SA, and the Jewish Agency for Israel.

​

On May 2015 Fernando produced a Tango  Concert by "Mariel Martinez y la Portena Tango Trio" (Buenos Aires & Madrid) on the Festival Aviv Rishon LeZion, Israel.

​

On October 2015 Knopf performed with Virtuoso Pianist Chuchito Valdes (Cuba) all over Israel  8 sold out Concerts at the Hot Jazz Series.

 

On November 2015 Fernando Toured with his New NYC Quintet on USA, with big success performing at the JazzPhest at the International House of Philadelphia, at the Zinc Bar Jazz Club New York City, at the legendary Café Wha, and at the East Midwood Jewish Center in Brooklyn.

The Fernando Knopf NYC Quintet features the greats: Itai Kriss (master flutist and Saxophonist), Igor Arias Baro (singer and percussionist), Jack Glottman (Piano and Keys) and Norbert Goldberg (Drums).

 

On March 2016 Knopf performed again with Virtuoso Pianist Chuchito Valdes (Cuba) & Latin Power Quintet Sold Out Concerts at the Opera House (Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center) and at Zappa Club.

 

On July 2016 Fernando performed and produced 3 Sold out Concerts around Israel with Master Percussionist/ Composer/ Arranger Samuel Torres, Colombian singer Maria Raquel & Latin Power Group (Colombia/ NYC).

 

On March 2017, Fernando performed 4 Concerts with singer Maria de Barros (Cabo Verde) including a big show at the Israeli Opera House (Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center).

 

On October 2017, Fernando Produced the biggest Salsa Dura Show in Israel with Special Guest 2x times Grammy Award Winner MARLOW ROSADO (Puerto Rico), with the Latin Power Orchestra, an amazing Sold Out Show.

 

In November 2017, Fernando performed 8 Latin Jazz Sold Out Concerts with NEA Latino Master Trombonist Papo Vazquez (Puerto Rico/ NYC), Chuchito Valdes, Saxophonist Willie Williams, Percussionist Carlos Maldonado and drummer Roni Zadik.

 

On December 6, Fernando performed a special Concert with his Latin Jazz Quintet, playing original compositions by Knopf, at the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival 2017.

 

In 2018 Fernando was very busy producing and arranging the New Show by Latin Power, mixing Reggaetón hits, Latin Pop HIts & Salsa.

 

Also on 2018 Fernando worked  with Super Star Singer RITA, recorded and wrote a new song for her upcoming Album.

From June 2018 Knopf is the Bass Player performing with Legends Shalom Hanoch & Matti Caspi. Two of the most important Artists ever in the History of Israeli Music. Many Sold Out Concerts at the biggest and most important Venues in Israel.
